Katie Yao has joined Sanghavi Law Office, LLC as a paralegal.
Prior to joining Sanghavi Law Office, Katie was an AmeriCorps Legal Advocate in the Employment Law Unit of Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS), a legal services program that serves low-income individuals and families in Boston and 31 additional cities and towns in the Greater Boston area. In this role, Katie represented clients at unemployment and Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML) administrative hearings, and prepared documents in support of further review by the Board of Review. Katie also served as a College & Career Adviser with College Advising Corps – Boston University, guiding over 120 first generation, low-income, and underrepresented high school students through the college admissions process.
Katie graduated cum laude from Boston University in 2021.
